Penelope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem have made headlines with baby news on Friday.
The 38-year-old already shares 2-year-old son Leonardo with her husband, but the married actors are reportedly expecting their second child this year.
Cruz has been spotted with a noticeably fuller figure, and sources close to the actress confirmed that she is indeed pregnant, according to The New York Post.
The baby news for Cruz arrives just days after her sister, Monica, welcomed her first child.
If the rumor is true about her pregnancy, Cruz will join a long list of other expectant celebrities, including Kristen Bell, Jessica Simpson, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Kim Kardashian, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
Kate Middleton, also known as the Duchess of Cambridge, and her husband, Prince William, announced in December that they were expecting their first child.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby," a statement on the couple's website read.
The announcement noted that 31-year-old Middleton was suffering from Hyperemesis gravidarum, or acute morning sickness, for which she sought medical care. The rare condition includes excessive vomiting during pregnancy, which can lead to dehydration and weight loss. It is believed that the morning sickness will subside halfway through her term.
Meanwhile, "Cougar Town" star Busy Phillips also announced her pregnancy earlier this year.
"So this happened," wrote the actress, adding a picture of a ClearBlue pregnancy test that read "Pregnant."
It will be the second child for the 33-year-old actress and her husband Marc Silverstein.
Actress Evan Rachel Wood is also expecting her first child with husband Jamie Bell. The "True Blood" star often updates her Twitter followers about her pregnancy.
"The magic of draw string pants when you are pregnant is pretty indescribable," Wood posted on Wednesday.
