Rihanna Posts Message About Ex On Instagram

Rihanna, the 25-year-old Barbadian pop star, is letting the world know what she thinks about an ex love interest on Instagram.

While the world has watched Rihanna's on-and-off again relationship with 24-year-old singer-songwriter Chris Brown, the former did not name the latter when speaking out against an ex in her recent Instagram post.

"I hate when ex's say..'I'm here if you need me.' Where the (expletive) were you when we were together and I needed you," the quotation posted on Rihanna's Instagram account reads.

While E! News reported that Brown and Rihanna split in April after attempting to reconcile a rocky relationship that included a past physical abuse at the hands of the former, he has spoken about the pair maintaining a friendship.

"I'm still good friends with them," Brown told HollywoodLife.com recently about Rihanna and his other recent ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. "[Now] it's just me being focused with my music and doing this stuff. Right now, I'm in my prime."

Brown explained breaking up with Rihanna to HollywoodLife.com recently.

"[Fans have] seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single," Brown told HollywoodLife.com recently.

Earlier this year, Brown spoke about Rihanna on Australian radio show The Kyle and Jackie Show. Although the singer-songwriter did not detail why the pair had split, he did let it be known that he planned to make other things in his life a priority.

"Imma do it solo," Brown told The Kyle and Jackie Show. "I mean, at the end of the day, shorty doing her own thang, she on the road. It's always gonna be love. I'm a grown man, just gotta fast forward."

While Brown made it clear that he still had love for Rihanna, he revealed that he was going to make himself a priority.

"I'm always gonna love that person. I can't be focused on wife-ing someone that young," Brown told the radio show. "I need to be the best Chris Brown I can be."
