A six-clawed lobster has been caught in Maine, stunning fishermen, with photos of the extraordinary lobster going viral on the Internet and on social media networks.
The unusual lobster was caught off the coast of Hyannis in Maine by Captain Peter Brown and lobsterman Richard Figueiredo.
The lobster, named Lola, suffers from a genetic defect. She has one normal claw and five claws on one side of the body.
Lola has been donated to the Maine State Aquarium in Boothbay Harbor, which is known for its collection of unusual lobsters.
The 4-pound crustacean will be joining the others after she gest accustomed to her new surroundings, according CBS Boston.
