'Teen Wolf' season 5 episode 10 spoilers and episode 9 recap: Who's going to die?
Is it over for Scott (Tyler Posey) and his pack? It certainly seems that way. In the midseason finale, Scott and his pack find themselves in even bigger trouble than before.
In "Status Asthmaticus," Scott and the gang confront what may be their largest menace yet. Fortunately, the wolf pack will be chock-full of power because of the supermoon as it enhances their powers. Unfortunately, this could have been the plan of the Dread Doctors all along since they have also been waiting for the supermoon to appear.
In the promos, Lydia (Holland Roden) has a prediction: Someone is going to die. Who it is will remain unknown until the episode airs, although it looks like it could be either Scott or Hayden (Victoria Moroles). The former could be killed by Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), in order to save Hayden.

Meanwhile, Theo (Cody Christian) tells Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) about his plans to get a wolf pack, one that does not include Scott. He may even get other people to do his dirty work. Fans will also finally learn the truth about Parrish (Ryan Kelly).
In the previous episode, Scott's asthma is back and he is telling Theo about his plans to shut down the animal clinic. Theo listens patiently as he bides his time. Later on, in the lair of the Dread Doctors, which is looking very bloody, Theo pays them a visit. He was promised a wolf pack and he also wants Hayden alive. But the Dread Doctors are waiting for the supermoon to appear first before doing anything.
Meanwhile, Hayden and Liam are kissing until some mercury starts oozing out of Hayden's nose, which kills the romantic mood. The duo then decides to run away, but not before they get the last $200 from the club. The Dread Doctors find the pair at the club and a fight begins. Scott and Theo suddenly show up to help. However, the Dread Doctors manage to inject Hayden with some poison that is slowly killing her. The boys bring her to the clinic where Liam asks Scott to change her into a werewolf, but Scott refuses.
The midseason finale will air on August 24 at 10 p.m.
