'The Bachelor' Latest News: Chris Brings the Ladies to His Hometown

Last week, Chris dismissed both Ashley and Kelsey from their two-on-one date, and Chris took off in the helicopter, leaving the two ladies to bicker in the Badlands.

This week at the pre-rose ceremony cocktail party, Megan believes that her connection with Chris is not as strong as the other ladies' bond with him. She brings this up with Chris, and he confirms this to her. He decides to let her go.

Later, host Chris Harrison announces that the ladies are headed to Chris Soules' hometown in Iowa. The girls are excited as they are about to get a glimpse of Chris' life.

Jade gets a date with Chris and he takes her on a tour of Arlington. He seems a little embarrassed as there's almost nothing to see—just his farm, his cows, his house, and the two blocks that make up the town. Chris takes Jade to a local high school football game and introduces her to his parents. Jade reassures Chris that his hometown is enough and that he should be proud of it.

Whitney gets the second one-on-one date with Chris and they go to Des Moines. They walk around and ask strangers to take pictures of them kissing, and they both appear to be having fun. They grab drinks with Chris' friends, and Whitney wins Chris over with her witty answers to his friends' intrusive questions.

Later, Whitney tells Chris that her mother died and that she isn't close to her dad. She says that she can't wait to get married so she can be a part of a family again, and at this he looks at her adoringly. Whitney tells the camera that she's in love with Chris.

Meanwhile, Britt, Kaitlyn, Carly and Becca pile into a car and take a drive to see Arlington. Britt is freaked out at how isolated Chris' hometown is—a far cry from her home in L.A.

Carly, Kaitlyn and Britt go on a group date with Chris, and Carly, not wanting to get eliminated, pulls Chris aside and tells him that Britt is lying about wanting to live in Arlington. Chris raise the issue with Britt, who tells him that while she was surprised about his hometown, she truly likes him.

Chris awards the group date rose to Kaitlyn, and Britt throws a tantrum and tells everybody that she's not happy about this. Chris is not pleased with Britt for challenging his decision in front of the other girls, and he bids her goodnight.

"The Bachelor" airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
