Tim Tebow Addresses Katy Perry Dating Rumors

Tim Tebow has finally addressed the desperate dating rumor that he and Katy Perry are an item.

Tim Tebow has denied rumors that he is dating pop-star, Katy Perry, during a charity appearance at the Challengers Boys & Girls Club in Los Angeles, according to the Huffington Post.

The Tim Tebow-Katy Perry romantic rumors started when the 27-year-old, preacher's daughter divorced from actor, Russell Brand. Her mother, Mary Hudson, suggested that Perry date Tebow. According to an OK! Magazine report, Mrs. Perry said that Tebow would be the perfect guy for her daughter.

"He's handsome, charming, intelligent and above all, a good Christian," Mrs. Perry said.

Perry fueled the rumors by dedicating her double-entendre-song "Peacock" to Tebow at pre Super Bowl performance. However, when a young fan at the Challengers Boys & Girls Club asked Tebow if he "has a thing" with Perry, he laughed and denied any romance with Perry, according to Herald Tribune.

"No, me and Katy Perry don't have a thing, but she's a very good artist," Tebow answered the inquisitive youngster.

Tebow was there to discuss how he overcame dyslexia and to teach about setting priorities in life, but the kids were more interested in discussing is love-life.

He went on to politely dismiss the discussion of his love-life, saying that he just hangs out with his brothers and friends.

"I'm single...but I'm doing just fine though," Tebow said. "I'll just be around my brothers and friends. We'll just have a good time."

Tebow, who has only professed his love for Jesus Christ, has also been linked to Kim Kardashian in the media. Rumors spread that Kardashian had a huge crush on him, but she later dispelled the rumor by swearing off dating football players.

Meanwhile, Tebow is more concerned with his off-season plans, which include a trip to the Philippines, where he was born. He plans to check on the progress of a hospital that his foundation is building and a visit to an orphanage he has built.
