Tim Tebow Celebrates 26th Birthday; Shares Video of Fan With Cerebral Palsy Who Inspired him

Popular Christian NFL star Tim Tebow celebrated his 26th birthday on Wednesday, taking time to share with his followers on Twitter a video about a 23-year- old fan with cerebral palsy who inspired the athlete.

"Thanks for the bday love! Check out this video about someone who really inspired me this past year. Love ya Dylan," Tebow posted.

The video tells the story of 23-year-old Dylan Brown, who prayed about meeting the NFL quarterback, and was granted that dream through W15H, the Tim Tebow Foundation outreach program.

"It's so amazing to see kids – how resilient they are, and how much, when you believe in them, they can accomplish," Tebow says in the video. "To be able to give them a brighter day and put a smile on their face – that's the most exciting things for me, to be able to build these relationships with these kids and care about them and see how amazing they really are."

"Tim, his family and his foundation, sharing their love of God in the most humble way – that I think is the biggest impact that it has," said Patti, Brown's mother.

Through the program, Brown was able to attend a New York Jets game, where Tebow played last season, and was given the game ball by the Christian athlete.

In the video, Brown shares his favorite Bible verse – Philippians 4:13, which reads: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." The young man added that Tebow and W15H changed his life, and he wanted to share his experience with others.

"Through their faith, we found hope, and we also found love, which was the greatest of all," added Jason, Brown's stepfather.

W15H has helped a number of children with life-threatening illnesses to meet Tebow at football events, and provided families with airfare and all the necessities needed to facilitate the meeting.

"I think that the joy that a child brings to a situation really is infectious to Tim," Erik Dellenback, executive director of the Tim Tebow Foundation, said in an interview last year with The Christian Post. "There's nothing quite like being around a child who, all in one, can bring you incredible perspective and yet bring you great joy because of their joy."

Tebow and his fans are currently waiting to find out if he has made the New England Patriots' 53-man roster for next season, following his release from the Jets.
