'Wolverine 3' Plot Rumors: Old Man Logan to Put on Iconic Yellow-Blue Suit?

In two years, it will be the third and last time that fans will see Hugh Jackman put on his claws, and while the official plot remains a mystery, the hottest rumor about the upcoming movie is that it will be based largely on Old Man Logan.

The rumor started even before Jackman confirmed that he will be taking on his role once more, but for the last time. Fans speculated earlier this year that it is highly possible for production to relive the memories of an aged, more mature, and much knowledgeable hero.

While it could be true that the movie may be based on the Mark Millar comic book series titled "Wolverine: Old Man Logan," the latest update is that the rumor isn't true after all. It turns out that the writers are still in the process of figuring out how the third installment should roll.

On the other hand, fans around the globe still believe that there's a huge possibility for the big screens to depict the story of an aged hero, just like how Batman will be portrayed in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."

The idea isn't bad at all since fans are expecting the best of Jackman and the best of the franchise, as a courtesy to the famed actor who put his claws on for the past years.

Another famous rumor is that of Wolverine going back to his roots, at least in terms of his suit. The iconic yellow and blue suit is said to be Jackman's final suit. 20th Century Fox has reportedly considered the idea of getting Wolverine back in his original shoulder-padded suit, but the previous movie seemed not fit for the suit.

This time, though, it could be a good idea to bring back the yellow and blue suit if production will take on the plot of "Old Man Logan."

"Wolverine 3" is expected to release sometime in 2017.
