'Dance Moms' Spoilers and News: Abby Lee Miller Not Sure to Come Back in Season 7; Dance Showdown of Kendall and Nia in Next Episode

Series is being plagued with dancers' departures but Coach Abby herself is not a sure thing for next season.

Nothing could fire up cancellation rumors of "Dance Moms" more than the exit of the Ziegler sisters, Maddie and Mackenzie. But, the loss of its biggest stars is not the only thing that the Lifetime reality show has to worry about because coach and dance studio owner Abby Lee Miller may not be able to return herself.

Bankruptcy fraud case

Miller was reported to be attending a court hearing regarding her bankruptcy fraud case on December 2. This is certainly bad news for "Dance Moms" Season 7 since the show will have to be cancelled once Miller will not get a favorable outcome and goes to jail.

It can be remembered that Miller pleaded guilty to the concealment of $775,000 income derived from her projects and over 10,000 Australian dollars. The "Dance Mom" host is facing 24 to 30 months in prison, but according to a report, the defense is pushing for probation to up to six months.

Possible scheduling problems

This does not really bode well for the ratings of future shows. Not a few are saying that "Dance Moms" needs Maddie Ziegler to make a cameo appearance at least, next season in order to save the show. The rumors of the show's original cast member return were strengthened when she posted a photo of her with the show's cast.

However, the "Chandelier" music video star might have scheduling problems to be able to make a cameo on "Dance Moms" as she currently sits as judge on another dance reality show, "So You Think You Can Dance", besides the concert tour she is about to do with Sia.

Meanwhile, Jojo Siwa and Nia Sioux Frazier are being rumored to follow the footsteps of the Ziegler sisters and Chloe Lukasiak before them. The two will not be returning for "Dance Moms" Season 7. This has still to be confirmed, however.

Coming next on "Dance Moms"

In the current "Dance Moms" Season 6, the synopsis of Episode 20 reveals that Kendall is going head-to-head with Nia Frazier. Abby will assign two elite junior teammates to each of them for a trio dance duel. Nia is assigned male guest dancers Jalen Parker and Simone Johnson while Kendall will do a "Charlie's Angels" alongside Jojo Siwa and Kalani Hilliker.

The synopsis bares that Holly Frazier will not be happy about her daughter's trio assignment. She suspects that Abby has a hidden agenda for Nia. Also in the episode, the elite junior team's moms are also not happy with their children's assigned tribute to Madonna number.

Meanwhile, even if it has always been Abby's instruction for her students to save their tears for their pillows, the criticisms on her students' "technique" had her ditching her students in the competition.

Major spoiler: dance competition results

"Dance Moms" spoilers reveal that the Fierce Dance Competition results had the Madonna dance piece placing fourth overall. Kendall's "Abby's Angels" trio did not finish much better as they place third overall. But, it was Nia's trio who did the best among them, taking home the first place in the teen division and was the third overall.

Episode 20 of "Dance Moms" Season 6 airs on Tuesday, September 13, 9 p.m. EDT on the Lifetime channel.
