'Five Nights at Freddy's' News, Updates: RPG Currently Being Developed for PC, iOS, and Android

"Five Nights at Freddy's" has been a massive hit in the gaming community. The unusual horror theme has definitely attracted fans, and that the creepiness of the game alone was addicting enough to produce a series of four games, as well as a movie now being developed. Despite fans clamoring for more of the survival horror video game, it doesn't seem like more will be released; however, instead, an RPG game will be made available soon for the PC, iOS, and Android.

According to Gamespot, Cawthon couldn't reiterate it enough that "Five Nights at Freddy's 5" will no longer be happening as "the story is complete." However, to satisfy fans' cravings, an RPG is currently being developed, which is entitled "Five Nights at Freddy's World." Cawthon also mentioned that fans shouldn't expect the same horror tone as that in the previous games, and based on the trailer, the RPG might bring a lighter tone than the creepy kiddie restaurant filled with murderous animatronic puppet animals seen in previous games.

Fans shoudn't be too worried, though, as even if the game is in early developments, the familiar set of characters are likely to be in it once more, as teased by the trailer. Some of them include Freddy Fazbear, Bony, Chica, Foxy, Mangle, Toy Freddy, Phantom Freddy, Withered Freddy, Nightmare Freddy, and even Crying Child. In the game, the players will have a number of options on how they will want to create their party. The choices being classic, withered, toy, phantom, and nightmare versions. The game seems to be a classic adventure-style game in which players will have to launch attacks against the robots, using moves such as "Pizza Wheel" and "Jumpscare."

However, many fans think this is simply a joke that Cawthon is pulling as he is has known to have done this before. For now, fans will have to wait and see whether this news is true, when the game is released in 2016.
