Street Fighter 5 News: New Adaptation Changes Moves for Vega, Ken

One of the classics is getting another makeover, this time under the title Street Fighter 5. Reported to be launched in March 2016, the fighting game has reportedly undergone some changes that will make players more excited about each match.

According to a report by GameSpot, the new Street Fighter 5 will introduce new features such as V-Skill and V-Trigger systems, which will aid players in finishing off their opponents. Similar to the combo system of yesteryear, animations, damage and effects vary depending on the character.

In the report, long-time Street Fighter veteran Vega reportedly had some changes to his fighting style. Whereas in recent years, he has been known for his midrange attacks, thanks mainly to his claws, the upcoming Vega will feature a new way to confuse enemies.

Vega will reportedly have the ability to switch to a claw-less fighter. This may cost him his midrange skills, but it would allow the fighter to execute command grabs, resulting in longer, more damaging combos.

Ken Masters has also been tweaked by Capcom in this upcoming remake. Ken will employ a fighting style that is more American than it is Japanese. Instead of using his fists more like in previous years, Ken reportedly feels more like a kick boxer. In addition, the character also has a unique ability of changing actions midair.

Ken will be able to fake a punch or kick, and then quickly charge toward the enemy for a more devastating blow. With this ability, Ken can possibly connect with the supposedly fake attack, and then make a follow up for a damaging combo.

While there are still several months of development and tweaking as far as characters are concerned, this new Street Fighter 5 release could be the best version of the game in years.
