"Dick Wolf said it was one of the best season finales he's ever heard," executive producer Matt Olmstead told TV Guide. "There's a big call and characters might be in danger. We're going out of this season with major jeopardy for the house."

That big call is likely a shootout that requires Shay and Dawson's full attention and at least one victim on the verge of death. Will they be able to save him, or possibly themselves if they get caught in the middle of the shootout? It would certainly be a huge season finale if the two found themselves in grave danger yet again. The EMTs have already been caught in the middle of a drug deal gone awry and had to rely on a dispatcher for help.

Firehouse 51 has gone from the verge of closing to losing several members and a candidate's suicide. It's safe to say that there is likely much more drama in store for the Chicago Firehouse as its powerful sophomore season comes to a close.

Watch a trailer for the season finale, "Real Never Waits."
