Duggar Family '19 Kids and Counting' News: New Season Commences

"19 Kids and Counting," which is about the life of the Duggar family, will start its new season on TLC on Tuesday, Feb.17, 2015. The Duggars live in Tontitown, Arkansas, with a brood of nine girls and 10 boys, including two sets of twins.

The new season, according to the report, will not only feature the daily goings-on in the Duggar household, but will also feature wedding plans and preparations as well as the actual wedding of one of the daughters, Jessa Lauren, to Ben Seewald.

In a separate report on International Business Times, Jessa Duggar Seewald announced on the Duggar Family blog, that she is joining the Southern Women's Show which will tour around the U.S. in March and April 2015. The report said that Jessa will be open to questions from fans and will be an "opportunity for fans of the Duggar family to ask questions," including perhaps her plans to have her own family after she got married in November 2014.

Last season saw the wedding of another daughter, Jill Michelle, to Derrick Dillard, in June 2014. In the Duggar Family official blog, it was announced in August 2014 that Jill and Derrick were expecting their first child in March 2015. It was also reported that the life of Jill and Derrick will also be featured in the new season.

Prior to the season opening, the couple had their first baby shower with friends and family on Valentines' Day, according to an ABC News report.

The first person in the family who got married was Joshua "Josh" James. He married Anna Keller in 1988 and they have three kids. They announced in December 2014, also on the family blog, that they are expecting their fourth child by the middle of 2015. They currently live in Washington D.C., and it is also expected that their story away from the rest of the family may be tackled in the upcoming season as well.
