Halo 5 Guardians Multiplayer Beta Release Date Details: Test Version Coming
There is good news for gamers who were able to grab November's "Halo: The Master Chief Collection." Starting Tuesday Dec. 30, Xbox One players can now play the much-anticipated multiplayer beta for 2015's "Halo 5: Guardians." The three-week trial will only run until Jan.18.
Other than owning the Master Chief Collection, those who are enrolled in the Xbox One Preview Program can also get into the Halo 5 Beta version, Gamespot. com reported. Any contents unlocked in the beta can be carried over to the full game which is slated to hit the shelves in fall of 2015.
Together with the Beta pack, Microsoft and 343 Industries Studios also unveiled three pre-order editions of the game: the Standard Edition, the Limited Edition, and the Limited Collector's Edition.

IGN.com provided more details for the pre-order pack including its corresponding prices.
According to the site, the Standard Edition will come at $60 which will include a copy of Halo 5 and an exclusive poster.
The Limited Edition costs $100 which includes all the goods from the Standard Edition plus a new digital content and a steel book containing exclusive Halo items.
Meanwhile, the Limited Collector's Edition, priced at 250 USD, comes with all of the former's contents as well as a commemorative numbered statue designed by 343.
On related Halo 5 Beta news, Kotaku.com indicated in their report that players can now say goodbye to the dreaded "flinch" animation. Citing 343's Josh Holmes, players should expect for the flinch to be removed when the full game arrives.
"The change will happen some time post-beta, and should be good news for players concerned about maintaining their accuracy in what they see as a precision-based, competitive shooter," the website confirmed.
