There are rumors that The Rock could be one of the individuals on the list to take on Cena. In addition, after Samoa Joe's preparation for a fight with Finn Balor, he is the one in line for the NXT Heavyweight Title. With that, he could be another competitor of John Cena.

However, there are also reports stating that it is unlikely for Joe to make an appearance for the upcoming "Hell In A Cell." This is due to his appearance in the upcoming Aftershock Festival for NXT.

Another candidate for John Cena's competition is Daniel Bryan. This speculation started when Scott Kiethe found out from a source who sat beside the WWE star on the plane that Bryan was cleared from a concussion and will be returning to work soon. There was also a picture from Bryan's Instagram account that showed him in California.

Steve Austin, also known as "Stone Cold," is rumored to make an appearance in "Hell In A Cell" to start a fight with Brock Lesnar.

Fans will have to watch the show in order to see who will take down John Cena.
