'Insurgent' Cast News, Update: Tris is 'Fueled by Demons' in the Sequel

Slated to hit the theaters in March 20, 2015, the highly anticipated Divergent series sequel "Insurgent" promises more action scenes and shocking revelations.

Speaking with People magazine, the franchise's lead star Shailene Woodley reveals that fans will see her Dauntless character, Tris, getting "fueled by demons" in the upcoming sequel and that it will be "notably different" from what they've seen of her in the first title.

"We find her a little bit numb and confused. She doesn't know who she is. In this film [Insurgent], Tris is fuelled by the demons that haunt her from Divergent," Woodley explained to the publication. "The loss of her parents and her friend make her feel like she is unstoppable in her quest for justice."

The 23-year-old actress meanwhile admits that getting back into the role was a bit hard than what she anticipated.

"I figured getting back into [Tris] would be simple because I would just go back into that mindset, but my personal mindset had progressed a year in evolution," she went on to say.

Aside from the character's mindset, Woodley also finds it hard to get back into the physical aspect of Tris.

"Getting back into Tris was much more difficult than I anticipated because I didn't take into account that I, myself, had grown for a year," she said.

Apparently, everything goes well for the actress. In fact she even shared how excited she was in once again doing what she loved most – making stunt scenes.

"We were on wires and we would slide down, and there was one where it was almost a 90-degree angle," she recalled. "I was like, 'If I don't grab this pole, I'm not going to get hurt, but I'm going to be dangling in the air and probably get a really bad wedgie,' so that was pretty fun."

Returning with Woodley is main co-star Theo James who will reprise his role as Tobias "Four" Eaton.
