Justin Timberlake's $4,000 Tip for Germany Bar Staff: 'He Was a Real Gentleman,' Says Owner

Justin Timberlake's $4,000 tip shocked and delighted the staff of a bar in Cologne, Germany earlier this week. The "Mirror" singer had made a stop in the city as a part of his European leg of The 20/20 Experience World Tour and went to the Crystal Cologne bar at the owner's invitation.

Justin Timberlake dropped the almost $4,000 tip after getting free drinks all night from the establishment, according to The Sun U.K. Owner Yunus Arslan invited the singer and his friends and they stayed practically all night.

"He was in a great mood, a real gentleman," he said.

After staying until about 4:30 a.m., Timberlake decided to leave a big tip for the waitresses of the Crystal Cologne bar. He left US$3,920, which is about $A4,235 in Germany money.

"We were all really amazed," one of the waitresses said.

This isn't the first time the singer has exhibited kindness and generosity on his 20/20 Experience World Tour. In December, he stopped his performance during a show in Louisville, Ky. to allow one fan to propose to his girlfriend.

Justin Timberlake was contacted by Josh in November about proposing to his girlfriend, Kim. The singer agreed to make the night special for both of them. After finishing a song, Timberlake stopped and highlighted the couple in their front-row seats and asked their names.

"Josh and Kim, why don't you make your way up here?" the Grammy-nominated artist said. "Josh called me earlier. He's got something he wants to tell you."

Though it was tough to hear what Josh was saying because of the lack of a microphone, Kim soon kissed him and they embraced. The crowd cheered for them, and Timberlake soon resumed the concert.
