Ryder Cup 2012 Live Stream: Watch Online Golf Coverage of Day 1 Afternoon Session (Scores, Schedule, Match Ups)

The Ryder Cup 2012 has finished the morning session of day 1 on Friday with Europe and the USA tied 2-2 after the morning's foursomes. The afternoon session's Fourballs are just getting underway and can be watched online through live stream (details below).

The morning session on day 1 was an up and down affair for both teams, with both sides refusing to give up any type of lead. Ian Poulter and Justin Rose were the inspiration for Europe as they beat Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker 2 & 1 to ensure that Europe leveled to 2-2 at the end of the foursomes.

Poulter and Rose were the image of calm as they led the entire way through the match against Woods and Stricker.

However, it didn't go all Europe's way by any means. Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson defeated Lee Westwood and Francesco Molinari 3&2, and countrymen Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley beat Sergio Garcia and Luke Donald 4&3.

Meanwhile in the other match Graeme McDowell sparked one of the moments of the first morning when he holed a six-foot putt on the 18th to give him and Rory McIlroy the win over Brandt Snedeker and Jim Furyk.

The United States did well to get themselves into a 2-1 lead, before Poulter and Rose leveled things, as Europe were at one point leading in all four matches, sending alarm bells through the United States team.

The two sides now go into the afternoon's Fourballs with everything level.

As things get underway early on Watson and Simpson are 3 up against Lawrie and Hanson at hole 3.

Mickelson and Bradley are 1 up against McIlroy and McDowell at hole 1.

Other matches still getting underway at 1.45 p.m. are Woods and Stricker vs Westwood and Colsaerts, and D. Johnson and Kuchar vs Rose and Kaymer.
