BET Networks is kicking off a nationwide talent search this week for America’s next great gospel singer.

The search will begin on Saturday in Atlanta with open auditions for undiscovered singers hoping to compete for a chance to appear on “Sunday Best,” the hit Gospel/Inspirational reality show similar to American Idol.

After auditions at the Georgia World Congress in Atlanta, the search will move on to Chicago on Jan. 25 before heading to Washington, D.C., on Jan. 31.

Additional dates may be announced in the future.

Since its debut, “Sunday Best” has grown to become one of BET's top-rated shows. Each year, “Sunday Best” holds massive casting calls in major cities across the country and awards one talented winner a car and a recording contract.

Past seasons of “Sunday Best” have been judged by platinum-selling Grammy winners including BeBe Winans and Tina Campbell of the Gospel duo Mary Mary.
