Washington Redskins vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers takes place on Thursday night in a Week 4 NFL Preseason 2013 game. The Redskins have a perfect preseason record so far, and come into this game on the back of three straight wins; they will want to make that a perfect four tonight heading into the regular season in September. The game starts at 7.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
With a record of 3-0 coming into this game, the Redskins have their rush offense to thanks for some amazing gains that have build the foundation for their perfect record so far. They have recorded an average of 172.3 yards on rush per game so far, Roy Helu and Keiland Williams doing the damage.
Helu has carried 27 for 157 yards and 1 touchdown and an average of 5.8 yards per carry. Williams has been a solid alternative carrying 18 times for 102 yards and 1 touchdown, and an average carry of 5.7 yards. Such consistent breaking of opposition defensive lines have helped the Redskins to repeatedly put opposition teams on the backfoot, and they will be hoping to maintain that intensity tonight and into the regular season.
So far this preseason the Redskins have gained wins over Tennessee 22-21, Pittsburgh 24-13, and last week Buffalo 30-7.
Meanwhile the Buccaneers have struggled this preseason, and come into this game with a record of 1-2, having lost to Baltimore 16-44, and the New England Patriots 21-25. However, they finally won a game last week against the Miami Dolphins in a close-as-you-can-get 17-16 victory. They will be hoping to build on that win tonight, and if they can take down the Redskins it will be a big scalp that should raise spirits and confidence ahead of the team's season opener against the New York Jets on Sept. 8.
