'Arrow' Season 3 Spoilers, Cast Rumors: Did Oliver Queen Get Out Alive?
Things are getting more exciting on TV as the hit superhero and crime fighting drama series "Arrow" is now set to return for the second half of its third season. For its mid-season premiere, fans will finally find out the fate of the billionaire-turned-vigilante Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) after the bloody duel with Ra's al Ghul.
Viewers may remember the Arrow losing the battle against the villain. After stabbing him to the chest, Ra's kicked off Queen off a cliff. The deep wound and fall could apparently kill the show's hero. But is he dead already?
In a recently-released trailer for next week's upcoming episode titled "Left Behind," it teases the fate of Starling City on the hands of the supporting characters.
"In the aftermath of Oliver's (Stephen Amell) fight with Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Arsenal (Colton Haynes) continue to protect the city in the Arrow's absence. However, after three days without hearing from Oliver, they begin to fear the worst may have happened to their friend. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to believe that Oliver could be dead until Merlyn (John Barrowman) pays the team a surprise visit," a synopsis was posted on The Futon Critic.
"Thea (Willa Holland) suspects there is something more behind Oliver's disappearance and asks Merlyn for a favor. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) tests a part of his new suit and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) takes up the mantle of the Black Canary," the summary continues.
On related cast news, Enstarz.com reported that "Suicide Squad's" Harley Quinn might be back for the rest of the season.
Citing TVLine, executive producer Andrew Kresiberg shed light on the talks about the team returning to the DC TV show.
"We're definitely going to bring back the Suicide Squad," Kreisberg confirmed.
For the meantime, "Arrow" season 3 Episode 10 airs this Wednesday, Jan. 21 on The CW.
