'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers, News: Salem Couples Under Stress

New Year in the hit daytime soap "Days of Our Lives" will be filled with tension and drama as spoiler reports suggest that a lot of Salem couples will be put under stress as their secrets and scandals are slowly coming to the surface.

Like on Monday, Dec. 29, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Sonny's ex Paul Norita will stir more trouble in Salem City as he is ever more determined to win back Will's husband. According to CDL, the new character will receive some devastating news. This news could be related to his baseball career, or on his mission to grab Sonny back.

The following day, DOOL fans should see Drake Hogestyn back as John Black. Spoiler news indicated that the returnee is also determined to win back Marlene. Meanwhile, Clyde will contact Aiden about his plans to hire the mysterious lawyer.

Just before 2014 will break off, all Salemites will be celebrating the New Year's Eve but one couple might not share the most awaited midnight kiss. SoapSheKnows.com pointed out that Chad DiMera will be totally honest with new girlfriend Jordan. She will soon find out the real story of Chad's complicated past with Melanie Jonas.

DOOL viewers may also expect Eric's temper completely going off as he learns Nicole's little investigation on his new girl Serena Mason.

Thursday, Jan. 1, Soap She Knows said that "Days of Our Lives" will not be on air.

On Friday, DOOL will resume with a brand new issue pointing out to Melanie Jonas' return to Salem. CDL went on to report that she would be Brady's new love interest and that they would be sharing a romantic kiss to meet 2015.
