Game Releases News: 'Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite,' 'NBA 2K18,' 'Project Cars 2,' and More Roll Out This Week
This week, several huge titles are due to come out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as the PC. "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite," "NBA 2K18" and "Project Cars 2" are just some of the most anticipated games coming out starting today.
Tuesday is a huge day for console gaming, with "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as the PC. After much anticipation, the long-awaited sequel to the head-on collision between the worlds of Marvel and Capcom launches today, and already, first impressions are coming up online.
At the same time, players not duking it out with their favorite Marvel or Capcom fighter will be fretting over their team roster as "NBA 2K18" comes out to a wide range of platforms, including the PlayStations 3 and 4, Xbox One and 360, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Sandbox role-playing game fans can now get their fix with the new episode of "Minecraft: Story Mode" season 2, also coming out today. Players who wanted to play their "Minecraft" on their specially-themed Xbox One S will have to wait until Oct. 3, however.
These are just the headliners for today, as more games are coming out as well. "Pankapu," "Robonauts," "Morphite," Backguards 2" and "The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth" are all coming out for the PlayStation at the same time as a dozen more titles listed off by Gamespot.
The Xbox One releases for today is much shorter, but between "Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite," "NBA 2K18" and "Blackguards 2," there is plenty to tide players over until the bounty of games coming out of the console on Friday.
Racing fans can finally hop into their dream cars, rendered in loving detail, in just three days as "Project CARS 2" launches this Friday, Sep. 22. Cars, tracks and driving conditions will be painstakingly simulated in 60 frames per second as Slightly Mad studios did not spare any effort with their follow-up to their acclaimed sports driving title, as shown in the trailer below.
