Joey Feek Update: Joey Snuggles Up With Cute Puppies

Joey Feek got a surprise last Wednesday when some cute puppies came to visit her and her daughter, Indiana.

The puppies were supposed to be little Indy's playmates, but Rory Feek said that the adorable canines that visited also brought smiles to his dying wife.

He shared the photo on their Facebook account, and captioned, "....some baby puppies came to play with Indy the other day, but I think her mama loved their visit the most." According to the Daily Mail, it was a special moment for Joey and her family, since the 40-year-old country singer is now in her last days of battling cervical cancer.

Since the photo was uploaded, it has now gathered almost 300 thousand likes and over 11 thousand shares. One fan commented, "Who does not love puppy breath kisses. Good to see that Mrs. Joey is enjoy the little fur babies. Praying for her and the family every day."

Meanwhile, in his recent blog post on their family's website, which is titled "The Power of The Plus-Sign," Rory said that he and Joey just do their best to see the positive things in their life right now. "Like all the extra days and weeks that we've been given together," Rory shared. Rory said his wife was not expected to make it through Thanksgiving, but she made it past Christmas and the New Year, which they are grateful for. Another thing that gives him hope during this crisis is their fans' continued love and support.

Fans are still praying hard for Joey, since Rory admitted in an earlier blog post that her condition is turning worse than ever. "The dosage [of morphine] she's needed to keep the pain away has quadrupled in the last four days. I'd like to tell you that she's doing great and is going to beat this thing. But I can't," the 49-year-old country singer said.
