2. 'Grow' — Peacock, streaming now
Just in time for the fall season, “Grow” stars Nick Frost, Golda Rosheuvel, Jeremy Swift and Priya-Rose Brookwell in a whimsical family film centered on giant pumpkins, unlikely relationships and the meaning of family.
The story follows Dinah, a practical, guarded woman and her spirited niece, Charlie, who has an unusual talent for growing enormous pumpkins. When the pair enter their town’s fiercely competitive pumpkin-growing contest, their adventure ultimately becomes a story about discovering that family — biological or chosen — is worth cultivating.
The film has also received industry recognition, winning the 2026 Humanitas Prize for Family Feature. It was also among eight films longlisted in the Children’s & Family Film category for the BAFTA Film Awards.
