Keeping up with the Joneses

You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor. (Exodus 20:17) Do not covet. Love your neighbor as yourself. (Romans 13:9) Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. (Luke 12:15) Godliness with contentment is great gain. If we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. (1 Timothy 6:8-11) Keep your life free from the love of money and be content with what you hvae. (Hebrews 13:5-6)
