Dede Robertson, the wife of televangelist Pat Robertson, who was involved in the leadership of both Regent University and the Christian Broadcasting Network, died at age 94.

Robertson served on the boards of CBN, Regent University and Operation Blessing International Relief and Development Corporation, authored two books in the 1980s and worked on her husband’s 1988 presidential campaign.

“Mom was the glue that held the Robertson family together,” recounted her son, Gordon Robertson, who recently took the lead anchor role for the long-running CBN series “The 700 Club.”

“She was always working behind the scenes. If it weren’t for Mom, there wouldn’t be a CBN.”
