Evangelical and Pentecostal leaders are reflecting on the life and legacy of Jim Bakker, offering their remembrances of the pioneering televangelist after his death.

Bakker, the pioneering televangelist and head of Praise the Lord Ministry, who was later imprisoned for financial misconduct, died Monday evening at the age of 86.

In his later years, Bakker continued to garner controversy for the content of his ministry program "The Jim Bakker Show." Since his passing, many people have responded to the news on social media, with some giving their condolences and others posting inflammatory clips or quotes from his programming.

Evangelist Franklin Graham, who credited Bakker with giving Samaritan's Purse its first major television exposure, said, "Jim was a friend, and he will be missed."

Here are four reactions from Evangelical and Pentecostal Christian leaders to Bakker's death.
