A/G Releases Week of Prayer Materials

With the Assemblies of God annual Week of prayer less than a month away, the denomination began shipping out “Help from the Lord” material to complement the local congregational efforts.

The A/G Commission on Evangelism printed two versions of the “Help From the Lord” supplement: a full ever-ready inspirational resource for Christians and a short gift book for nonbelievers. Both materials correlate with the “evangelism” theme of the January 4-10, 2004 event.

According to the A/G Commissioner of Evangelism Randy Hurst, the materials can be used not only throughout the week of prayer, but also through the rest of the week. Materials available include the "Help From the Lord," prayer guide, gift book, bulletin covers, prayer reminder cards, bulletin inserts and a poster.

Also, a special edition of "Today's Pentecostal Evangel" (December 28 edition), will correlate with the program.
