'Agent Carter' Season 2 Cast News: Who Will Accompany Peggy to Her New Adventures in Los Angeles?

It was previously reported that the second season of ABC's hit crime-fighting TV drama series "Agent Carter" will see the titular character (Hayley Atwell) embarking on a journey from Season 1's New York City down to Los Angeles where she is expected to find new friends as well as enemies.

Despite the new setting and the new people surrounding her, the Marvel TV adaptation needs at least a handful of familiar faces to put into the new chapter of Peggy's life.

A casting update from Entertainment Weekly said that James D' Arcy's Jarvis and Enver Gjokaj's SSR agent Daniel Sousa have already signed on as series regulars for Season 2.

Furthermore, and although it is still not confirmed by Marvel, it was heard that Chad Michael Murray (Agent Jack Thompson), Bridget Regan (Dottie Underwood) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Angie Martinelli) are also eyed to return in the show.

For those who missed it, the network released the official synopsis for "Agent Carter" Season 2 where it reads:

"Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet," the press release reads. "But even as she discovers new friends, a new home -- and perhaps even a new love -- she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect."

The new season is expected to premiere on ABC this 2016.
