'American Horror Story: Freak Show' Spoilers, News - Final Episode 'Curtain Call' Recap

The final episode of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" aired last Wednesday, and the episode shows what happens to all of the freaks, and the fate that awaits them in the afterlife.

"Curtain Call" starts with Dandy, now the new owner of the freak show, in a rage because the freaks are making fun of him. He puts on a suit, grabs a gun, and kills them. Dandy leaves with Bette and Dot. Later, Jimmy walks to the dining tent and sees no one around. He looks for Elsa, but she's not there.

At the Mott Manor, Dandy marries the twins. They celebrate, and he doesn't notice that the champagne is making him unusually drowsy. Desiree, the Tattlers, and Jimmy show up to avenge the deaths of the freaks that Dandy killed. They punish him by throwing him into Hardeen's water tank and leaves him to drown.

Meanwhile, Elsa is in Hollywood and is waiting to see the head of a popular network. He refuses to see her, but when Michael Beck, a vice president of the company walks by, Elsa bonds with him over their German heritage.

Fast forward to 1960, and Elsa is now one of the biggest stars on TV. She's married to Michael, and she's also a recording star. Then Massimo shows up and tells her that he has been building villages for the government to blow up with atomic bombs. Elsa tells him that she wants to get away from him.

The head of the network stops by and tells Elsa that someone found her snuff film. He fires her, Michael wants to divorce her, and in the middle of all these she agrees to do the Halloween show. At the show, Wes Bentley shows up with Twisty the Clown and kills Elsa.

Elsa wakes up and finds herself back with her Cabinet of Curiosities. They perform to packed shows every night, and Elsa is once again the headliner to crowds of adoring fans for all eternity.
