Andy Dick Back in Rehab

Comedian Andy Dick has reentered a rehabilitation center this week after his struggles with drugs and alcohol addictions persist.

Friends and co-workers staged an intervention during filming for his Internet television show, "Andy Dick Live!" on Tuesday. Shortly after, the 46-year-old actor checked into the Oasis Treatment Center in California.

"Intervention" is a television series on AETV where addicts are faced with the realities of their drugs addictions while their friends and family gather around them.

Alki David, Dick's superior, confronted the comedian's dangerous vices during the recent episode.

"I told you the other day, if this continues, we can't carry on," explained David, who then gave Dick an ultimatum. "And if you decide to leave and not do that [check into rehab], I'm afraid that we can't carry on here together."

The episode saw Dick crumble into tears as he hugged cast and crew members. He also admitted that he had been through "ups and downs."

Dick was then escorted to the treatment center in Anaheim, according to Celebuzz.

The troubled star has checked into rehabilitation centers over ten times in the past, and has seen run-ins with the law over his drug problems.

Last year, Dick was ejected from an adult entertainment awards ceremony after being accused of harassing a porn star. Moreover, in 2010 the actor allegedly flashed his genitals in a Los Angeles coffee shop before being arrested for reportedly wandering into a random house in the area in the middle of the night.

Dick's legal troubles do not stop there. Two men recently sued the actor for sexually assaulting them in a night club two years ago.

Despite his personal problems, the comedian and actor is best known for his role on the television series "NewsRadio" in the 1990s.
