Beyonce and Jay Z 'On the Run' HBO Trailer Video Debuts, Singer Will Offer Statement at VMAs?

HBO has released the new trailer for Beyonce and Jay Z's "On the Run" tour, set to premiere on Sept. 20.

The teaser starts out with Beyonce singing "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" by Cher and famously covered by Nancy Sinatra, while Jay Z watches and smokes a cigar. The black and white visuals, which shows Beyonce in a slinky, sparkly dress and pointing her fingers at Jay Z, fuels the impending divorce rumors that have hounded the famous pair all throughout their tour.

The preview goes on to show a series of dance routines, a few clips from their performances, and the two of them cuddling on stage.

Insiders believe that the teaser couldn't have come at a better time, especially with all the negativity that's surrounding their marriage at the moment. The short video gives fans a glimpse of the power couple's chemistry as they perform onstage, and if the couple's recent outings are any indication that the rumors are false, then it seems like the Carters are well on their way to proving their detractors wrong once and for all.

Beyonce and Jay Z were spotted on Aug. 15 with their daughter Blue Ivy on a family date at an indoor race track. Eyewitnesses said that the Carter family was in a lighthearted mood as they went on a go kart race.

In other news, Hollywood Life is reporting that Beyonce will allegedly address her marriage situation onstage at the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 24.

"During her performance, she is looking to do something to hopefully silence all the haters and the critics but, in true entertainment fashion, to make even more questions come out of it," a source told the site. "She wants to make a statement that people will be talking about for a very long time."
