Credit :

When James came back from deployment he was feeling all the effects of PTSD. Many soldiers who come back from war and see all the dramatic scenes, they are usually never the same. James was feeling hopeless, lost, and ready to die. But a friend named Mary saw a post on social media and felt like she needed to be his light.

Around the time when he was about to commit suicide, his phone rang. It was Mary, who was also a former veteran, who is diagnosed with Cancer and also lost both her arms. She explained to him how precious it is to have your life, even when everything isn't as perfect as it should be. By her reaching out, it really touched his heart and gave him a completely different outlook on life. She saved his life and also stayed connected to him even after they spoke, becoming good friends.

In this video you get to see them meet for the first time and James even rewards her with a medal for her courageous act of kindness. Grab your tissues for this one!
