'Chicago Fire' Season 5 Episode 19: Casey Reunites With an Old Buddy
Casey (Jesse Spencer) will reunite with his old friend, Jason (guest star Kamal Angelo Bolden), in the upcoming episode of "Chicago Fire."
In the episode titled "Carry Their Legacy," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that a former colleague of Casey will help him when Firehouse 51 faces a field setback. When the team's rig suddenly breaks down, Squad 6's Jason will lend a hand, urging his crew to vacate their posts to accommodate Casey's colleagues. While the rig is being fixed, Casey and the others will bunk with Jason's team.
Elsewhere, Severide (Taylor Kinney) knows that something is wrong with his relationship with Anna (Charlotte Sullivan). Ever since they had dinner with his father, Benny (Treat Williams), his girlfriend has been exceptionally quiet and cold. Severide refuses to see it, but Anna has actually made up her mind that she and Severide do not belong together. He is determined to make things right, though. He will reportedly get support from an unlikely someone. Will it be from ex-girlfriend Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo)?

Meanwhile, Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Brett (Kara Killmer) will continue with their training. They have no choice since Boden (Eamonn Walker) is pushing them to do it. Last episode, both paramedics were convinced they were just wasting their time. At the end of the day, though, both realized training was actually something that they enjoy doing. This time around, Dawson and Brett will share something unique with their wards.
Back at the headquarters, the firefighters will find themselves hedging bets on Connie's (DuShon Monique Brown) replacement. She previously went on leave to attend to family matters. Marcy (guest star Mia Hulen) subbed for her. The squad is wondering how long the newbie will last. There is something about Marcy that makes others think she will easily give up. Will she prove them wrong?
