Chris Rice Hits Mainstream Top 20

Singer/songwriter Chris Rice is celebrating his first mainstream top 20 hit with his latest single, “When Did You Fall (In Love With Me),” which landed at No. 17 this week on the R&R Monitored Mainstream AC chart.

The song is the first single from artist’s latest album Amusing, which Rice released in hopes of reaching a broader and more mainstream audience.

“‘When Did You Fall’ is a breath of fresh air,” said Chip Arledge Program Director WYSF/The Rick & Bubba Station and WZRR/Pure Classic Rock. “A great song, hook and great listener response."

“Realizing that someone is in love with you is a surprising twist in life, and it made a fun topic for this song,” Rice said about the song, which is at No. 23 this week on the R&R Christian AC indicator. “It was important to me musically to capture the old romantic comedy feeling with a little jazz and crooner influence in the chords and melody. It’s a feel-good song that makes me laugh.”

Rice is currently on tour performing a series of one-off dates at various venues. For more information, go to
