'Empire' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Lucious Gets Out Of Jail; Bryshere Y. Gray Debuts Song

The latest trailer for the upcoming episode of Fox's phenomenal drama TV series "Empire" drops hints of Lucious Lyon getting out of jail while his family members scramble to their feet.

Titled "Fires of Heaven," the synopsis shared over at Design & Trend says that Cookie and Anika are secretly planning behind Lucious' back to produce a surprise performance that will, later on, catch the attention of Pitbull who will be guest starring as himself.

The Empire head, meanwhile, tries to find Frank Gathers' daughter, Young Ma, to convince her to sign in to the label. Hakeem, on the other hand, works hard with his girl group, the Menage a Trois. Andre and Rhonda, on their part, are deeply hoping that their baby will soften the heart of Lucious and pave them the way to return to the Empire fold.

D&T also pointed out the details dropped in the teaser showing Andre holding two shovels. It appears that Andre will be giving Lucious an offer the latter can't refuse. Could it be that Andre will kill the lawyer who was responsible for Lucious' imprisonment? If this is the case, will Lucious take him back to the Empire?

Additional reports for the upcoming episode also made mention the debut of Bryshere Y. Gray's (who plays Hakeem in the series) hit titled "Bout 2 Blow."

Gray will be performing the song along with Timbaland, who also serves as the executive music producer for the series since Season 1. This would be the artist's first on-screen appearance in the show. Both Gray and Timbaland had worked on the song.

In an interview with Billboard.com (via International Business Times), Gray gave his commendation to the 43-year-old music mogul for being so "creative" and helping him lay out the beat of the song.
