'Fargo' Season 2 News, Update: 2 New Teasers Released Featuring Kirsten Dunst and Patrick Wilson

It's been a long while since FX dropped some updates about the upcoming second season of its critically-acclaimed anthology TV series, "Fargo." But the wait is finally over. Just this week, the network released a couple of teaser trailers for the new season featuring the latest cast members.

The first video titled "Curl Up & Die" featured Kirsten Dunst as Peggy Blomquist, a beautician. The character appears to be awfully troubled while washing her hands from what appears to be red hair dye. Just as she returned to her section, she began to look at the mirror with an even more disturbed expression.

In the second teaser called "Break Time," stars Molly Solverson's (Allison Tolman) father Lou (Patrick Wilson) and grandfather Hank (Ted Danson) were having a coffee break from their duties.

"Back to the clock," the elderly cued and they went both in separate ways into the cold Sioux Falls winter.

At Zap2it.com, it was speculated that "there's been a gender flip on the Season 1 and Season 2 crimes" set-up. There's a possibility that Dunst's Peggy will be replacing the role of Martin Freeman's Lester.

If this should be the case, then it remains to be seen if Peggy's victim is her husband Ed (Jesse Plemons) if they are in on it together.

Like HBO's "True Detective," the series is rebooting the setting, story, and cast of characters. "Fargo" Season 2 will take the action back to 1979, which is almost 3 decades before the events of Season 1.

"Fargo" Season 2 is slated to premiere this September on FX.
