"Five Nights at Freddy's" fans who cannot get enough of Freddy and the gang can look forward to "The Freddy Files," the first official guidebook to the franchise.
Those who loved the video game series will learn more about it in the book and will ultimately allow them to "immerse themselves in the series' mythology, gameplay, and secrets as we unwind the twisted mysteries hidden at the heart of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza."
The "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Freddy Files" guide book will allow fans to learn more about the gameplay elements in each of the installments.
That includes the paths of the animatronics, how timed elements of the games work and how to trigger unique events. The rest of the description for the official guide book reveals:
"Special sections throughout highlight Freddy's fans' most talked-about theories, from The Bite of '87 vs. The Bite of '83 to the identity of Purple Guy to the recurring hallucinations of "it's me." All the evidence, along with every detail of the games and novels, is laid out for fans to explore in this one-of-a-kind guide to the warped world of Five Nights at Freddy's."
"Five Nights at Freddy's" creator, Scott Cawthon, is the author of the book so fans can expect some clues hidden in the pages. Some of the biggest theories in the games might be confirmed or debunked too.
Apart from the actual games, "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Freddy Files" guide book will actually be a good way for fans to keep themselves busy while waiting for another "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie.
It has been confirmed by Cawthon that the development of the project is back to square one due to several delays and roadblocks brought about by "problems within the movie industry as a whole."
The "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Freddy Files" guide book will be released on Aug. 29. It is regularly priced $8.99 but fans can preorder it on Amazon for $5.90.
