'Grimm' Season 5 – On a different track with two new characters.

"Grimm: Season 5" will explore a different storyline this season with two new characters joining in. One is 'Scream' Actress Carlson Young and the other is Nick and Adalind's baby who will provide most of the motivations to propel the events in season 5.

Carlson Young will be playing the character of Selina Golias who is portrayed as being the only one to survive an attack of the Wesen Fued. Her boyfriend perishes in this attack and now Selina is on the run to save herself from the Wesen King.

Young's role in "Screams" may be coming to an end as it was revealed in that series that the killer has her on his hit list. She will most probably be killed off by the Masked killer in Lakewood High School.

Executive producer Jim Kouf says that Nick and Adalind's baby will be an "important character in 'Grimm: Season 5'". Nick and Adalind need to come together to protect their baby and the baby will be bringing important changes in Nick and Adalind's relationship.

About their relationship, showrunner David Greenwalt says, "Well, she's changed a lot. He's changed somewhat and you never know."

David Giuntoli who plays the role of Nick said that in the coming season, he might leave the police force and take the help of his friends and try to investigate who killed his mother and his love, Juliette in the last season.

"I'd say they're localizing it more to what it was," Giuntoli said in describing what they planned to do in Season 5, "It seems to be Portland, it seems to be Wesen. It seems to be Nick plotting revenge. I would definitely say I don't really care about being a cop anymore. I'm just like I'm doing my own Grimm thing."

Nick's friends might be back, especially Monroe, and Trubel will fall into some kind of major trouble. Giuntoli says, "I think it'll re-up the Nick and Monroe relationship. I think they realized that the fans really enjoy that so they want to bring it back. I've seen evidence of that. Trubel is who I'm concerned about right now. Something bad happens to her right away."

With new characters and lots of sub plots, "Grimm: Season 5" is a definite watch. It will start airing from October 30 on NBC.
