GTA 5 Online Big DLC Update Release Date Sept. 30, 2014 - Unlikely to Be Heists DLC

The Heists DLC is singularly the most wanted DLC that fans are expecting from Rockstar which was announced even before GTA Online went live. It's been more than a year since the release of the online multiplayer mode that fans have grown impatient and furious at Rockstar's constant delays.

There's been a buzz among the YouTube community following a GTA Online YouTuber named DomisLive who hinted that a new DLC is coming on Sept. 30. Even though Rockstar has not released the Heists DLC as promised, they have been pretty consistent with a DLC release every month – The "I'm Not a Hipster Update" in June, "Independence Day" in July, and "Flight School" in August last month.

GTA Online would be in line for a much needed update this September because of all the havoc that have been caused by reckless modders. As for DomisLive, he hinted at his tenth Question-and-Answer session with fans that a DLC is coming. The hint came with a screenshot of the source code of the Xbox Live marketplace which features a title "Test DLC."

It is still uncertain which DLC Sept. 30 will bring players but many think that it will finally be the much awaited Heists DLC. Others however, are a bit skeptical and think that it is a different DLC. One thing is for certain, the 1.17 patch update will be a major one. If it does manage to be the Heists update, then fans may finally rest easy knowing that Rockstar finally held up their promise – even if it is a year late.
