Take a First Look at 'Exodus: Gods and Kings', the New Biblical Epic Starring Christian Bale as Moses

We're at the midpoint of the year of the Bible in cinema, and Entertainment Weekly has released the first photos from "Exodus: Gods and Kings," the upcoming biblical drama from Ridley Scott ("Gladiator"). The images show the militaristic side of the struggle between the Israelites, led by Christian Bale ("The Dark Knight Rises") as Moses, and the Egyptians, fronted by Joel Edgerton ("Zero Dark Thirty") as Ramses.

Sigourney Weaver, John Turturro, Ben Kingsley and Aaron Paul round out the ancient epic's cast. "Exodus: Gods and Kings" releases December 12th.
