'House of Cards' Season 6 Spoilers: LeeAnn to Return from the Dead

LeAnn Harvey (Neve Campbell) will return with a clear mission in mind in the potential new season of "House of Cards."

Spoilers for the next installment indicate that the former Chief of Staff is alive and well following the deadly car crash she was in. LeAnn is set to team up with Douglas Stamper (Michael Kelly) in their bid to bring Frank (Kevin Spacey) back to power.

Now that Claire (Robin Wright) is the president of the country, Frank is gearing up for a comeback. He cannot stand being pushed to the sidelines while his wife lords over his people. LeAnn and Doug will make sure that he will get what he wants, even if it means hurting his own spouse.

In a June interview with Entertainment Weekly, Campbell said that LeAnn's willingness to trust the Underwoods became her downfall. Frank promised her a seat as his Chief of Staff, but it took only half a day before it was taken away from her.

Campbell said that there is no telling what LeAnn would do once she understands how Frank and Claire manipulated everything to benefit them. Still, she would come back with guns blazing, ready to fight for the side she thinks is right.

"I think LeAnn is the kind of person who is willing to take on whatever comes to her. Whether she knew of the challenges with the Underwoods or the extent to which their moral compasses can be off, I don't know about that [Laughs]. But she was ready to come in and fight," Campbell said.

Meanwhile, season 6 will revolve around Claire's new administration. It has already been teased that she would be one of the most loved presidents in the US history. Claire's style of leadership is reportedly different from Frank's. The people will find her fascinating as the first woman leader of the country, to Frank's dismay.

Netflix has yet to announce the renewal of "House of Cards."
