'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 4: Laurel's Father to Lock Her Up in a Mental Hospital?

Laurel (Karla Souza) will probably lose her mind when she learns who the real killer of Wes (Alfred Enoch) is in the upcoming season of "How to Get Away with Murder."

In an interview with Souza, she said that her character would probably go crazy once she discovers that the person behind her boyfriend's death is her father. It was Jorge Castillo (Esai Morales) who ordered Wes' death. He and A.D.A. Todd Denver (Benito Martinez) planned the explosion in Annalise's (Viola Davis) house. Dominic (Nicholas Gonzalez), Laurel's old family friend, was the one who ended Wes' life. She still has no idea about the truth. She still believes that the Mahoneys are the ones responsible for everything.

"I think she's going to go to the psychiatric ward. It's such a crazy, crazy strong reveal. I don't know how they're going to write it, but I feel that she's already going through so much and already been through so much, so I can't even imagine how she's going to react to that," Souza said.

Even if Laurel does not lose her mind with the discovery, Jorge will likely do everything to stop her from revealing the truth. He may even place her in a mental institution himself and make people believe she is having hallucinations following her boyfriend's death. It also still remains to be seen why Jorge wanted Wes dead. The Castillos' backstory is expected to be one of the highlights in the upcoming installment.

At the moment, Laurel is still secure with the knowledge that Charles (Wilson Bethel) and Sylvia (Roxanne Hart) killed Wes to prevent him from getting his inheritance. Spoilers reveal that she will once again try to kill Charles. Laurel almost attacked him in front of many people last finale. Fortunately, she became distracted when she bumped into Dominic.

"How to Get Away with Murder" season 4 is expected to return this fall on ABC.
