iOS 7 Remains Simple to Use and Stays True to Past Software

iOS 7 will feature a redesigned "flatter" interface and will lose all signs of gloss and shine.

The updated software will not be more difficult to use than the current iteration, according to a report from 9to5 Mac, who recently got to look at iOS 7. There will also be no new learning curve for those who are using the software for the first time.

iOS 7 looks a bit different, but its core apps and system fundamentals such as the Lock and Home screens will operate in the same way that they do on iOS 6.

The new version is currently being operated by Apple under the codename "Innsbruck." The interface will feature an all-new icon set for Apple's native apps and will also have newly designed tool bars and tab bars.

Apple is also planning to add more at-a-glance information to iOS, according to 9to5Mac. However, the company's goal is to make changes while keeping the system easy to use for less tech-savvy owners. New panels and swipes from the left and the right that are similar to the current Notification center could also show up on iOS 7

The software could begin rolling out as early as June and will launch alongside the iPhone 5S.

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released a new research report last month that claims that Apple will unveil the new low-cost iPhone and software sometime that month and they will be available for purchase in July.

Kuo also states that both dates are earlier than last year's roadmap and claims that the reason for this is that Apple does not want the competition to gain market share by launching devices earlier. These new iPhones are allegedly developed based on the iPhone 5, which makes them easier to create.
