'iZombie' Season 2 Spoilers – It's Coach Liv Who Gives Major a Pep Talk

In the upcoming episode of "iZombie" Season 2 titled, "Love & Basketball," Liv will consume the brains of a dead peewee basketball coach and gives everyone a pep talk, including Major as it looks like it's time for a much needed one. All this will result in hilarious moments as Liv goes at it once again.

The episode, "Love & Basketball," takes its name after a 2000 film starring Omar Epps and Sanaa Lathan.

The official synopsis of the episode states: "Liv (Rose McIver), Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) investigate the mysterious death of a peewee basketball coach. Liv, consumed with overzealous coach brains, gives Major (Robert Buckley) a much needed pep talk. Meanwhile, things get a little crazy when Blaine (David Anders) and Ravi are forced to work together to recreate the cure. Lastly, Detective Babineaux receives a surprise visit from Suzuki's widow Helen."

In the previous episode, aside from solving the case of a murdered country-singing waitress, Liv also wants to mend fences with Major. However, everything she does is rebuffed by a seriously sick Major and viewers must have been not too happy with the way he treated Liv. Liv was heart-breaking in her attempts to patch up with Major. But finally, Major turns up at Liv's doorstep asking for help and they kiss.

In the upcoming episode, as soon as Liv consumes the brains of a very dead, over enthusiastic basketball coach, she is off coaching the young boys who, at first, simply laugh at her until they see she means business. Then she turns her pep talk to Major and tries to put some sense into him in true 'basketball coaching" style. Hopefully, Coach Liv will be able to get Major's life back on track.

In the meantime, Blaine and Ravi will form an uneasy alliance to find the zombie cure. Detective Babineaux remains puzzled as usual over Liv's unpredictable behaviour.

The episode titled, "Love & Basketball" of Season 2 of "iZombie" will air on Tuesday, Nov. at 9 pm EST on The CW.
