Jessica White Converts From Christianity to Scientology?

Jessica White, the model and actress who has appeared in Harper's Bazaar, Sports Illustrated and Cover Girl, may be interested in the Scientology religion.

White, 29, was recently spotted outside of a New York City Church of Scientology Celebrity Center. The model has reportedly taken an interest in the religion that is allegedly practiced by the likes of actors Tom Cruise, Will Smith and John Travolta.

One source reportedly told The New York Post that White finds the religion "enlightening," despite the fact that she was raised as a Baptist Christian.

"She has been increasingly curious about it," the source reportedly told The New York Post.

White seemed to echo the sentiments on her Twitter page on the day she was spotted at the Scientology church. The model posed in a photograph outside of the church that she posted on Instagram and captioned "enlightenment."

"Haven't felt this relaxed in so long," White tweeted Monday. "Had a beautiful meeting today, feeling like I'm entering into a new realm of understanding."

In the past, White has spoken about her love for God propelling her to take a vow of celibacy.

"When you really see how much God loves you there's no greater love than that and I had to match that amount of love He had for me, which is the reason why I decided to take a vow of celibacy," the actress told blogger Lauren Turner in 2011. "I'm not saying I'm always going to be celibate, I'm just saying that until there is someone that is worthy of my love and a reflection of the way God loves me then I'm not doing it. I'm basically saying this to give women the strength to understand that we do connect physically too soon at times and it isn't worth it."
