Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell News: Newlyweds Appear in a Video for the First Time as a Married Couple

Duggar and Caldwell just posted their first video together as a married couple. In a video uploaded on YouTube last Sept. 15, the newlyweds are seen riding a car when they filmed their congratulatory message to Josh and Anna Duggar, who were also reported recently to have been blessed with the birth of their newborn.

"Congratulations, Josh and Anna, on your new little one," Caldwell starts the greeting.

"We are so happy for y'all. We're so excited to see what the Lord's going to do through Mason and, as he grows and learns more about the Lord, just what the Lord has for his life," Joseph adds. "It's going to be really exciting to see. We love y'all," Duggar says on the video.

To the uninitiated, it was reported that Josh and Anna became parents anew with the birth of Mason on Sept. 12, just four days after Duggar and Caldwell's wedding. Josh was even spotted at his brother's wedding as seen on the photos uploaded on the Duggar family's official website.

TLC, the network that airs the Duggar family's reality show "Counting On," has cropped Josh from the images shared on the network's official website. To recall, the eldest Duggar son got involved in a controversy after a publication unearthed police records showing that Josh had molested his younger sisters when they were still young. Because of this, Duggar was said to have been banned from appearing on his family's reality show.

Meanwhile, "Counting On," the spinoff to the original Duggar family reality show "19 Kids and Counting," has added the controversial Baptist pastor and Kendra's father, Paul Caldwell, into the show as part of their extended family.

The elder Caldwell stirred some controversy some years ago after distributing flyers asking if God loves homosexuals. The said flyers angered some Lighthouse locals, arguing that churches should not force their beliefs on others.

"Counting On" airs on TLC every Monday at 9 p.m. ET.
