Josh and Anna Duggar Welcome Fifth Child Mason; New Baby Pictures Revealed

Reality star Josh Duggar and his wife Anna have welcomed their fifth child.

On Thursday, the birth of Mason Garrett was officially announced on the Duggar family website. "We are so thankful and happy to announce the arrival of our new son, Mason Garrett Duggar," Josh wrote. "Both he and Anna are doing well. He arrived today without complication and we already adore him."

One of the photos on the Duggars' website shows the newborn cuddled up in a knitted blanket and wearing a matching beige beanie. Mason's arrival is certainly happy news for the couple after going through several issues in the past few years.

Josh, 29, had previously gone to rehab after admitting to molesting four of his younger sisters when he was just a teenager. He also admitted to sleeping with other women outside his marriage, leading many fans to turn against him.

2015 was a particularly difficult year for the Duggars. Reports note that it was the year TLC pulled the plug on "19 Kids and Counting" after it was revealed that Josh molested four of his sisters and one babysitter. News of Josh's infidelity also surfaced that same year.

It was discovered that the disgraced reality star used adultery website Ashley Madison after its database was hacked. Anna, 29, had just given birth to their fourth child, Meredith Grace, at the time. Since then, Josh and Anna stayed away from the public eye. The last time they were spotted was in Illinois during a rare family outing.

Josh and Anna first met at a Christian homeschooling convention. They began dating in 2006 and later married at the Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hilliard, Florida in September 2008. In 2009, their wedding ceremony was featured on the second season of their TLC reality show.
