Justin Timberlake Lets Fan Propose on Stage, Wins iTunes Artist of the Year (VIDEO)

Justin Timberlake stopped his performance during a show on his 20/20 Experience Tour to allow one fan to propose to his girlfriend Sunday. Josh had reached out to the superstar singer in advance, and Timberlake brought the Louisville, Ky. concert to a halt to allow him to propose on the stage.

Justin Timberlake was contacted by Josh in November about proposing to his girlfriend, Kim. The singer agreed to make the night special for both of them. After finishing a song, Timberlake stopped and highlighted the couple in their front-row seats and asked their names.

"Josh and Kim, why don't you make your way up here?" the Grammy-nominated artist said. The audience screamed in anticipation as Timberlake led Kim onstage by the hand.

"Josh called me earlier. He's got something he wants to tell you," Timberlake said, letting the couple have their moment and hopping off the stage.

Though it was tough to hear what Josh was saying because of the lack of a microphone, Kim soon kissed him and they embraced. The crowd cheered for them, Timberlake soon resumed the concert.

Justin Timberlake also had some of the highest honors from iTunes this year as his latest album, The 20/20 Experience, earned him recognition from Apple's music service, which sells 63 percent of all digital downloads.

The 20/20 Experience was the top-selling album of the year on iTunes and had a best-selling track, "Mirrors." Justin Timberlake was named Artist of the Year, while Macklemore's The Heist was named Album of the Year. Song of the Year went to "Royals" by Lorde, and the honor of Breakthrough Album went to Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City by Kendrick Lamar.

While Beyonce's surprise self-titled album also made the list of Top Albums, it's possible it would have fared better had the list not been compiled Dec. 16. In the three days since its release Dec. 13, Beyonce's album sold over 617,000 units.
